And we begin a new month as FEBRUARY, associated with VALENTINE’S DAY, which will be the next 14th. In this post, we want to give you some ideas to give away details that you can do at home, easy to execute and very well priced.

Today we don’t want to give you the story of Lovers’ Day, nor are we going to tell you the stories of CUPIDO, or anything like that. In this blog the goal is that you take ideas that can solve the ballot to give something to the lover easily and cheaply.

Because we want to help you solve the famous question of…

AND NOW WHAT DO I GIVE HIM?

Well look, for the beloved we can give him a braided leather bracelet that we can decorate with a piece of zamak in the central part, very easy to make and super cheap.

This bracelet is very easy just glue the closure at the ends with double component glue and put in the center a couple of squares to decorate the bracelet a little, or leave it alone with the braided leather if the person to whom it is given is simpler.

There are also key chains engraved with laser, key chains made of zamak and therefore silver plated, very cool with which you can also give an original detail and above all customize it, you can put whatever you want, your name, the calendar with a special date marked, everything you can imagine can be embodied in a keychain, a bracelet or a necklace, you can see more details in the section of laser engraving.

A very cool gift for her can also be with this piece that puts the word LOVE you can give for a bracelet or choker type necklace.

With these ideas we say goodbye in today’s blog, we hope you find them useful and that you have a great day, and above all, be happy always and celebrate every day the DAY OF LOVE.

Carnival, historically, is a time of permissiveness and lack of control that contrasts with Lent, which is the event that follows it. The eve of Ash Wednesday being the end of the festival.

Historians place the origin of Carnival in ancient Sumeria and Egypt, more than 5000 years ago. Similar celebrations were later held in the Roman Empire (Bacchus’ pagan festival: bacchanal) which spread the event to the rest of Europe, reaching America towards the end of the 15th century by Spanish and Portuguese navigators.

Among the most popular and well-known carnivals are the Rio de Janeiro Carnival in Brazil, which is the most popular, the Tenerife and Las Palmas Carnival in the Canary Islands and the Cadiz Carnival in Spain, the Cologne Carnival in Germany and the Venice Carnival in Italy. Did you know what… copper is?

Today we present our special copper wire for handicrafts. This is the most popular and used wire in the creation of accessories because of its malleability and its quality/price ratio that is one of the best on the market.

We offer it in different thicknesses and in gold and silver to be able to respond to any of the needs you may have in the creation of your accessories. They can be combined with each other and with the beads of the type you want, whether they are made of glass, plastic, wood, rock, etc. These wires are made of copper and covered with colour.

Copper is a chemical element with atomic number 29 that originally has a reddish colour that we all know, as it is mainly used in the manufacture of cables, high voltage lines, electrical machinery, among others. Copper, as we explained in previous posts, is also part of other metal alloys such as brass (with zinc) and bronze (with tin). Among its properties, we highlight its malleability, its resistance to corrosion and its good conductivity of electricity and heat.

We hope you liked this information and we encourage you to use this magic wire  that you can use to make from peculiar forms with which to decorate any accessory or ornament at home as to hang from the Christmas tree, now that it is the time, beautiful decorative elements that you believe yourselves.

See you next time and Happy Holidays to all of you!

Cup identifiers

In these upcoming dates in which we gather family and friends to celebrate Christmas Eve and the entry of the new year, we thought about this post to propose different ideas to decorate the glasses and thus give a touch of distinction and decoration to our party and make it a little more original.

In addition to identifying who owns each glass and thus avoid the question of … Is this my glass?

A first idea to decorate and at the same time identify the glasses would be with a flower, with the bouquets of flowers that we have is a very cheap way to decorate the glasses…

Another idea is with a tassel, we cut the upper thread and knot it to the base of the glass… and we have another super cheap idea to decorate a glass…

The last idea we have is with Czech glass balls on a ring of earrings…

From Vinda Selección we want to wish you a Merry Christmas… we hope this post is useful for you…

Why do girls like pink?

strong> with which to create a pink complement for the little one of the house. And it doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it’s child-friendly and most importantly, PINK!
So we asked ourselves why this is so and consulted the great source of information on the Internet to see if we could get an explanation.

Below, we detail the conclusions we have reached.
Mainly there are two ideas: the one we all know that leads us to believe that it is the work of the marketing and advertising that influences the girls to be attracted to this color; although we have discovered some curious things like that, according to the historian Jo B. Paoletti,  prior to World War I in the United States, for example, no pastel shades were used for babies but simply white. Later they began to take these colors but blue was for the girls because it was more “delicate and kind” and pink for the boys because they considered it “determined and strong”. This distinction could also be seen in Europe although the criteria varied from country to country. In France, pink was already used for girls and blue for boys. However, in Germany, Belgium or Switzerland, it was the other way round and the trend would not change until the 1920s, becoming definitively widespread in the 1970s.

In the 80s, pink completely displaced other alternatives as a colour trend in products for girls. In the 80s, pink completely replaced other alternatives as a colour trend in products for girls, reaching our days, when, according to the aforementioned historian, there is much more differentiation by sex than in previous centuries.

And the other idea, developed by the University of Newcastle (United Kingdom), in which a study carried out on 208 British men and women, among whom 37 Chinese men and women who had just arrived in the United Kingdom, discarded the cultural influence, showed that although in general men and women preferred the colour blue, women showed a clear predilection for lilac and pink tones; And they concluded that this chromatic preference went back to the first humans when men hunted and women gathered, developing a natural instinct that identified those pink and reddish tones with the maturity of the fruits.

We will conclude that maybe there is some biological cause in the fact that girls love the color pink but it is more likely that we have turned a natural fact into a cultural one and that together with the strong advertising influence has resulted in the situation we talked about at the beginning of this post:
-“My girl wants something pink.”
– “What?
-Never mind. -Pink it…
