Flamenco earrings handmade in Seville

Almost every pair of flamenco earrings in this section comes out of our workshop in Seville, assembled piece by piece. We have nearly 150 designs, and because we make them ourselves, we can change the colour, the size, a single piece or the fastening so they match your dress.

They are also known as Spanish earrings or sevillana earrings: the large, swinging earrings worn with a flamenco dress at Seville’s April Fair, at romerías (Andalusian pilgrimages) or at any flamenco celebration.

Types of flamenco earrings you’ll find

Statement and drop earrings

The ones you see most at the fair. Designs such as Sevilla (about 11 cm) or Triana (about 11.5 cm) fill the space between the bun and the ruffles of the dress, and look best with open necklines.

Hoops

The classic flamenco earring. Plain or with drops, they go with any dress and are the safest choice if you can’t decide.

Bone

One of our largest lines. Bone pieces have a natural, matte finish that works beautifully with earthy tones, white dresses or subtle prints.

Enamel carnation and orange blossom

The flower turned into an earring. Enamel carnations add colour without needing a huge flower in your hair, while orange blossom with a teardrop is a more delicate option.

Pearls, seed pearls and vintage

For a more elegant or period look: seed-pearl and pearl earrings, crosses and vintage-inspired designs.

For girls

Smaller, lighter designs, such as our enamel carnation earrings for girls, made so little ones can wear them all day.

Custom flamenco earrings

Because we make our earrings by hand, almost every design can be adapted: a different colour to match the polka dots on your dress, a smaller size, a change to one piece or a clip-on fastening if your ears aren’t pierced. Add any change in the order notes and, if you’re not sure it can be done, write to us before buying.

Are big flamenco earrings heavy?

It’s the most common question, and for good reason: a heavy earring starts to hurt after a few hours at the fair. Our statement designs are built with light pieces so you can wear them for hours. Each product page shows the approximate length, so you know exactly what you’ll receive.

If your earlobes are sensitive, a silicone back on the post spreads the weight and stops the earring tilting forward.

How to choose the right flamenco earrings

With the dress: if it’s plain, the earring can be bold and colourful; if it’s polka-dot or patterned, pick one of the colours in the print or go for gold.
With the flower: earring and flower can both be big if they share a colour. With a very full bouquet, a hoop or a simpler earring balances the look. See our flamenco flowers to match them.
With your face shape: long earrings lengthen round faces, while hoops and wider designs soften long faces.

To complete the look, our flamenco accessories section also has shawls, brooches, combs and necklaces.

Flamenco earrings FAQs

What’s the difference between flamenco, Spanish and sevillana earrings?

None: they’re different names for the same accessory, the earring worn with a flamenco dress.

Are they hypoallergenic?

Yes. All our earrings use Spanish-made or stainless steel findings and are hypoallergenic.

Do you have clip-on flamenco earrings?

Yes. Almost any design can be made with a clip-on fastening: just add it in the order notes and we’ll make it that way in the workshop.

How long are the statement earrings?

It depends on the design. Sevilla is about 11 cm and Triana about 11.5 cm. Each product page shows the approximate length.

Can I order earrings in a different colour?

For almost every design, yes. Write it in the order notes and we’ll take it into account in the workshop.
